How we handle your information

Short version: we collect what we need to build your mockup and quote it accurately, we don't sell it, and you can have it deleted by asking.

What we collect

When you request a mockup or send us a message, we collect the details you type into the form: your name, brand or company, email address, an optional phone number, your product and packaging specification, your intended quantity and timeline, an optional link to your artwork, and any notes you add.

We also record how you found us - the page you landed on, the site that referred you, and any campaign tags on the link you clicked. We keep the referring site's domain, not the full URL you came from.

We never collect card numbers. If your run is under 5,000 pieces and the $100 mockup fee applies, payment is handled entirely on Stripe's own checkout page. Your card details go to Stripe and never touch our servers. We receive only a confirmation that the payment succeeded, the amount, and a receipt link.

Why we collect it

To build and send your mockup, to quote your job accurately, to take the mockup fee where one applies, and to know which of our pages actually bring in work so we can spend our effort there. We do not sell your details, rent them, or hand them to a list broker.

Who else sees it

  • Stripe - payment processing, when a fee applies. Stripe receives your name and email and handles your card data under its own privacy terms.
  • Our production partners - a converter needs your artwork and specification to quote or produce your job. They receive the spec, not your browsing history.
  • Nobody else. There are no advertising pixels, no third-party analytics scripts and no tracking cookies on this site.

How long we keep it

Quote and order records are kept for as long as you're a customer and for seven years afterwards, because tax and commercial records have to be retainable. Requests that never turn into an order are deleted after two years. Website source-attribution data is kept for 24 months.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@pouchworks.com and we'll action it within 30 days. We may need to keep records tied to a completed order for the tax period above; we'll tell you if that applies.

If you're in California, we don't sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, so there's nothing for you to opt out of. If you're in the EU or UK, our basis for processing is your request for a quote and our legitimate interest in running the business.

Storage on your own device

This site sets no tracking cookies. While you're filling in a request, your entries are held in your browser's session storage so the form can carry them between steps - that copy is deleted when you close the tab, and there's a button on the confirmation screen to erase it immediately.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Access to customer records is restricted to staff who need it, payment records can't be written by anything except our verified payment webhook, and we don't log your card details or full request bodies anywhere.

Pre-launch note for the PouchWorks team: this notice accurately describes what the code does today, but the legal entity name, registered address, governing-law clause and the retention periods above are placeholders chosen as sensible defaults. Have an attorney review this page before you take a real customer's details. The retention periods in particular need to match what you actually configure in the database.
